WVU High School Flute Camp
June 23-26, 2010

The camp is open to all high school flutists who are entering grades 9-12 in the 2010-2011 academic year. All events will take place at West Virginia University’s Creative Arts Center on the Evansdale Campus. The camp and its tuition cover all activities except private lessons. Accommodation fees are separate from camp tuition. Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase.

- Masterclasses (flute solo and also flute repertoire with piano)
- Small group lessons with student faculty
- Tone & Technique Classes
- Music Classes: Electives
- Chamber ensembles
- Large Flute Choirs
- Faculty and camp recitals
- Gala Concert for family & friends
- Exhibits
- Electives
Registration and Tuition:
Registration Deadline: June 1, 2010
Tuition: $150.00
Priority Registration Deadline: May 1, 2010
Tuition (if registered by May 1): $125.00
In order to register for the camp, please complete the Flute Camp (available soon) and return it with your tuition payment by June 1, 2010.
Schedule Information:
Once registration has closed, a detailed schedule will be announced. The basic schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, June 23: Dorm check in 12-2PM; Camp meeting 3 PM. Activities until 9 PM.
- Thursday and Friday, June 24-25: Classes begin at 8:30 AM and continue through 9 PM
- Saturday, June 26: Classes begin at 8:30 AM; dorm check out; Gala concert early afternoon
